Yiorgos sets the vision and the long-term targets of Fieldscale. He supervises all operations and he is responsible for keeping the engine moving inside and outside of the company. Yiorgos holds an MSc and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering both from the Aristotle University of Greece.
He is the principal inventor of one patent; has published over 20 papers and 4 books. Yiorgos has worked in various positions and developed several software tools as a Freelancer.
He loves playing with his two kids.
George implements novel numerical techniques that form the kernel of the company’s technology. He is an expert in Computational Electromagnetics and Programing of Numerical Techniques (FDTD, FEM, BEM). George holds an MSc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Ph.D. in Computational Electromagnetics both from the Aristotle University of Greece.
During his studies, he won 4 different scholarships of excellence; published over 10 scientific papers and developed a time domain numerical model for the simulation of electromagnetic effects in Graphene structures.
George takes joy in jogging and Taekwondo.
Nikos is in charge of Fieldscale’s Sales Department. He has worked for many years at the Export Department of KLEEMANN S.A. as a sales engineer. He has also worked as a Software Sales Manager for three years.
He studied Mechanical Engineering at Faculty of Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and he holds a MBA from the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki.
Nikos takes joy in sailing and he loves to watch football matches with his friends.
Vasilis’s main responsibility is to define market’s needs and translate them into optimal software products. He is attracted by the challenge of coping with complicated engineering problems and coming up with innovative simulation solutions. He received his PhD in High Voltage Engineering from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
His scientific interests focus on corona discharges and electric breakdown, including theoretical analysis and experimental investigation. He is also interested in electrostatic applications, as well as simulation of high voltage equipment and capacitive touch sensors.
In his spare time, Vasilis relaxes through watching football, gardening or going out with friends.
Maria works directly with the company’s C-level executives and is responsible for performing a number of administrative duties. She supervises and coordinates the affairs of the company and handles duties ranging from training new hires to preparing department initiatives.
Maria holds a bachelor degree in English Language and Literature from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She worked for several years as an office assistant in a wholesaling firm and as an EFL teacher in various schools. Maria has, also, received a scholarship from State Scholarships Foundation to work as a Comenius Language Assistant in a British military base in Germany.
Her past time activities are skiing, travelling and Netflix.
