Designing and validating a capacitive touch sensor is crucial for successfully completing any project. In this chapter, we will introduce the workflow used to achieve this.
Moreover, we will discuss basic circuit components and different circuit models that one would encounter when performing circuit analysis on capacitive touch sensors.
Then, we will discuss the different representations for capacitive touch sensors, that include schematic diagrams, equivalent circuit diagrams, netlist and layouts.
Finally, we will go in depth on the equivalent schematic diagrams of capacitive buttons and capacitive touch screens.
