Fieldscale to launch new generation SaaS Touchscreen Design Simulation App for the Cloud Era

    By Vasso Kalaitzidou | News, Simulation Apps | 0 comment | 3 November, 2016 | 0

    What are Simulation Apps?

Simulation is a core part of every technology product design. Solving a virtual model of the product before prototyping and production saves time and money. Yet, 90% of the hardware manufacturers don’t use simulation due to the complexity of the software and the long waiting times for simulations to run.

Simulation Apps are developed to automate the most difficult part of the simulation process and eliminate the four major setbacks currently present in other simulation tools: High-level expertise required, long hours needed to set up a new model, long waiting periods for results, and yet another high level of expertise required to interpret them.

The use of Simulation Apps will enable every manufacturer to scale their product development and better support their customers by providing valuable, accurate insights about all the new products in a glimpse. Enhanced by the limitless computing power of the Cloud, Fieldscale’s Simulation Apps deliver results up to 60 times faster than traditional simulation software.

“We are excited to announce that in less than one month Sense 2 will be available in the market,” says Vasso Kalaitzidou, Fieldscale COO.

    What is Sense 2?

Sense is the only touchscreen design simulation app in the world that enables a 30-seconds model setup and runs hundreds of simulations in one click.

Fieldscale’s disruptive touchscreen design simulation solution operates under a new rallying cry heard from engineers the world over:

All engineers should be able to use simulation, and this should be the easy part of their day. Results should come within minutes and in a language that they and their managers can easily understand.

Its first version having been in the market since May 2016, the latest edition of Sense contains new features and enhancements implemented at the suggestions of existing users to perfectly answer to their design and simulation needs. Its user-friendly environment and all-in-one-screen philosophy are set to adapt its functions seamlessly to every design process, practically eliminating the learning curve.

New features include importing options, new sensor patterns in the library (such as Metal Mesh and Floating Conductors patterns), resistance computation and automated reports and results export. Detailed description of each new feature can be found here.

Sense 2 will be available to purchase by December 1st.
