Fieldscale CEO, Yiorgos Bontzios and COO, Vasso Kalaitzidou will be attending the IIoT Symposium in Paris, on September 28, organized by McRock Capital. Kalaitzidou will be discussing on stage with McRock’s MD and Co-founder Whitney Rockley, and Libelium CEO, Alicia Asin the IIoT trends in the afternoon panel “IIoT Trailblazers”.
The Industrial Internet of Things is a becoming a reality. AT&T, Cisco, GE, IBM and Intel have founded the Industrial Internet Consortium in 2014 aiming to coordinate vast ecosystem initiatives to connect and integrate objects with people, processes and data using common architectures, interoperability, and open standards. IIoT promises to revolutionize manufacturing by enabling the acquisition and accessibility of far greater amounts of data, at far greater speeds.
Speed is a crucial factor in the effectiveness of any software involved in the IIoT. Fieldscale offers highly parallelized and scalable algorithms to process an enormous amount of data, on the cloud, ten to sixty times faster than any other simulation provider today. Combining real-time information with hundreds of simulation scenarios will enable companies to go one step further from connecting and analyzing the data captured by the sensors: feeding this data to Fieldscale’s powerful solvers will allow the companies to predict the behavior of their devices and plan the future actions like maintenance and investments with minimized risk.
McRock Capital is the first dedicated Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) venture capital fund focused on the intersection of sensors & software and large industrial markets. The IIoT Symposium is an excellent opportunity for Fieldscale to create strong relationships with the industry innovators.
Read here how Vasso and Yiorgos asked McRock for a second VIP ticket. Spoiler alert: it was not with strong, valid arguments.
